The day will begin after a representative picks you up from your hotel around 04.00 am and you will head to Luxor, which is 300 km away. From Hurghada. Around 8:30 a.m. with the tour guide, you will be at the Karnak Temple and he will tell you it’s story. Next stop is the Papyrus Factory, where you will understand the process by which papyrus is created and, if you wish, you can buy a completely original one.
Around 12:00, time for a delicious and varied lunch in a fine restaurant and a short rest before heading to the Colossi of Memnon and the Valley of the Kings, where the guide will tell you about the traditions and rituals of ancient Egypt / the tour guide will explain everything outside the tombs because it is forbidden to explain inside /. The program includes 3 tombs, which were chosen as the most interesting and beautiful.
The bus will be waiting for you in the parking lot and you will go to the Temple of Hatshepsut – the only female pharaoh who pretended to be a man and ruled for 20 years. The excursion will end at the Alabaster Factory / a type of stone that is mined in Luxor and used to make ceilings / because it allows light /, vases, statuettes, etc. The workers will cheer you up with a short program that they created especially for the good mood of the tourists. You will see the process by which Alabaster is processed, you will explore the exhibition hall with beautiful masterpieces made by hand and in case you like something, you will be able to buy it as a souvenir or as a gift, then you will go back to Hurghada. Usually the return to the hotel is around 22.30.
