At least once you have to feel the magic of this city of 20 million people. A combination of poverty and wealth, traditions, customs mixed with a thousand-year history has been preserved to this day.
A representative will pick you up from your hotel and you will be heading to one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Around 8.30 am, you will arrive in the city and the first stop is Old Cairo – it is a kind of complex of Holy Places. You will visit the Church of the Holy Mother of God, which is from around the 3rd century AD, the Church of Saint Sergius, the Mosque of Amr Ibn El As, the Synagogue of Abraham Ibn Azra.
The tour guide will show you where the Virgin Mary, Jesus and Joseph lived for 3 months when they escaped from Jerusalem. You can also see the map that shows how far they walked. You will also see the well from which they drank water, and even some of the stones have been preserved in their original form to this day. After you finish, lunch awaits you, and then the visit to the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. The day will end with a visit to the Perfume and Papyrus Factory.
On request and for an additional fee, you can take a boat ride on the Nile.
The return to Hurghada will be around 10:30 p.m.
